The owner of our company had decided to end the company Christmas parties and replace them with a party that we would host for underpriviliged Children in an orphanage in Chicago. The owner was close to the Chicago Bears organization and he always had some sports celebrities that dropped by to cheer up the kids.

I suggested that we put on a play. I wrote a new script every year and I designed and sewed together seven puppet reindeer and one big black hairy monster. The Rudolph puppet had a red nose that glowed in the dark. It was a pretty lame show but the kids loved it.
