You’d be surprized to know how many people don’t know CPR.

One year I took the gold medal in the Illinois state karate tornament and I took third place in the regionals.  A guy from New York broke my sternum.  I didn’t feel a thing until I reached Toledo (from Akron).  It was the power of adrenaline.

I spoke  at the Chicago Playboy Club in 1972 and I received a free membership.   I don’t know what it was good for but I kept it anyway.

The Daily Herald printed my opinion on flexible schedule football games.

This photo was taken of me when my hair was short.  The 70’s were  winding down and only the hard-core iconoclasts kept their long hair.
I  usually wore colorful patch pants (as was the style of the time) but I quit wearing them when I was in a South Elgin grocery store and some little kid said to his mom:
“Look Mommy!  There’s a clown!”

It’s about three in the morning. I was on the RailroadExtra Board for the  Northwestern Railroad and I got called to work a freight train leaving for Iowa at five am.
I’m cleaning the different camera lenses for my trip.   When you are on the extra board you never know when or where you are going and you don’t  know when you are coming home.
