Debbie’s Fortunato Home

Debbie’s parents lived in the city of Chicago but all of thier children lived in the northwest suburbs.

In 2002 the family finally decided that it was time to move mom and dad out to the burbs with everyone else.  They would have central air, heat that worked in the entire house and a lot less upkeep if they moved to a condo.

The whole family chipped in to help with the move.  Lots of memories were found.

Debbie found her old girl scout uniform.

Debbie’s Room.

There were lots of parties down in the basement.

What Italian home is complete without a full second kitchen in the basement?

I had to ask Debbie’s father for permission to marry her on this back porch.  I had no idea if I was supposed to bring some goats and chickens for the trade.

Kelsey found Aunt Jeannie’s wedding dress and IT FIT!

The attic was bigger than our first home in Elk Grove.
